Swami Chinmayananda, a great visionary and sage of modern times, worked tirelessly to spread the knowledge of Vedanta. He established Gurukulas, called ‘Sandeepany’, to ensure that the lineage of the teacher and taught (Guru-shishya Parampara) remains unbroken and the Knowledge is kept ever alive for all seekers. It is at Sandeepany that the teachers of Chinmaya Mission are bestowed with in-depth scriptural knowledge, which they in turn share with the society.

Sandeepany Sadhanalaya is run exclusively on donations from generous devotees and philanthropists. All can be a part of this great cause. Offer your contributions according to your ability to the Rishi Putra Scheme (sponsorship for the training of one or more Brahmacharins). Let this be one of the small ways we pay our gratitude to Swami Chinmayananda.

Rishi Putra Scheme

Philanthropic donors/organizations/Trusts, can support the sacred work of spiritual education by sponsoring one or more students (Brahmacharins) of the Vedanta Course. The contribution amount for sponsoring one student for two years is ₹3,00,000.

Note: Please inform Tara Cultural Trust, by email to tct@chinmayamission.com or letter to The Chief Executive, Tara Cultural Trust, Sandeepany Sadhanalaya, Chinmaya Mission, Saki Vihar Road, Powai, Mumbai – 400 072, India, giving full details of the donor – name, address, PAN card number, contact telephone/mobile number, amount remitted, date of remittance, transferring bank name and purpose of donation – so that a receipt can be prepared and sent to the donor.
