Course Syllabus

The typical day schedule consists of Vedic chanting, Meditation, Vedantic studies, Sanskrit studies, Bhajans and Satsang and Shramadan spread over the day between 5 am to 8 pm.

Vedic Chanting
Different Vedic Suktas, Shanti Mantras, Rudra Prashna, and major Upanishads are taught in the Vedic svara-style.

Vedanta Sessions
Vedantic texts include primarily Major and Minor Upanishads, Bhagawad Gita, Brahmasutras (Chatus-sutri), and Prakarana-granthas authored by Adi Sankara, Ramana Maharshi, Swami Vidyaranya, Swami Sadananda and others. Bhakti Literature
Ramayana, Bhagawatam, Stotras, Bhajans, Sahasranamavali

Basic concepts including script writing, all important grammar concepts, sentence building and Sanskrit conversation.

Meditation and Yoga
Guided meditation by Resident Acharya Time slots will be made available for students to practice Yogasanas.
